Bridget O’Brien Swartz recently undertook a new endeavor as Vice President & Fiduciary Counsel of Mission Management & Trust Co. (Mission Trust) where she will be primarily tasked with facilitating the expansion and development of trust services beyond the tradition offerings, to include public benefit and settlement planning and related trusts, such as qualified settlement funds, special needs trusts, and settlement preservation trusts throughout Arizona.
Bridget preceded her role at Mission Trust engaged in the practice of law in Arizona for over 25 years, the last 7 of which were as Senior Counsel at Dyer Bregman & Ferris, PLLC. Bridget’s law practice was focused on special needs law, i.e., planning for individuals with disabilities under the age of 65 and their families.
Bridget is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and remains actively involved in national attorney organizations such as the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) as its current Vice President and the Special Needs Alliance, of which she is a Past President.
