Alexus M. Anderson

Associate

Alexus grew up in Peoria, Arizona and attended Northern Arizona University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.  She received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  After law school, Alexus served as a Judicial Law Clerk for Referee Mike Lien in Hennepin County District Court.  She then went on to private practice in Minnesota in the areas of Elder Law, Trusts and Estates, and Guardianships and Conservatorships.

Alexus handles a variety of Elder Law matters in the areas of Guardianships and Conservatorships, Probate and Trust Administration, and Wills and Trusts.  Her dedicated legal practice is more than just her profession—it’s her life passion. Alexus understands the difficult decisions that her clients face when they are planning their estates, experiencing health issues as they age, when they need to make difficult decisions for their dependent children, and the effect their decisions will have on their children upon death.  With her knowledge and the desire to assist with the best solutions possible, she knows that her clients are getting assistance that they, and their family, can rely on.

Alexus strives to make her clients feel valued starting at their first meeting, with the ability to help her clients self-advocate in making good, practical decisions. Alexus has been dedicated to this area of law because she sees the value of advocating for those that are disabled or vulnerable.  In addition, she believes in being proactive and finding solutions for her clients that are both efficient and effective, while also ensuring her clients have a voice in the process.

In her free time, Alexus enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, and sewing.
