Steven R. Tutnick

Senior Counsel

Steve has lived in Arizona for his entire life; he earned his Bachelor of Science in General Business Administration, from Arizona State University, and received his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Steve was a legal assistant for his father, Arizona Attorney Paul Tutnick.

From Steve’s interview for the Masters series on ReelLawyers.com

I’m guided by a quote from George Eliot: “What do we live for, if not to make the lives of other people less difficult?” Throughout my practice, I’ve always tried to make the lives of my clients and their loved ones less difficult by creating an estate plan that addresses their goals.

The most important piece of advice I find myself repeatedly giving to clients is: don’t put it off. People often believe they’ll have time to complete their estate plan in the future, but they don’t realize that the situations an estate plan addresses often arise before they’re ready. So, I think the most important thing to tell a client is: don’t put it off.

Steve’s goal is to have open communication with his clients and provide solutions to address life’s most difficult transitions. Steve helps clients form small businesses and he represents those businesses in matters including contract review, corporate governance, and regulatory agency compliance; he also provides the expertise needed for business succession planning.

Steve spends his free time as a fitness trainer and enjoys spending time with his family and dogs.
